After an official welcome by His Majesty the King, the Sovereign Pontiff took part in several events devoted to interreligious dialogue, before going to Temara to visit a dispensary run by Spanish nuns, supported by the Order of Malta over many years.
Before celebrating Holy Mass at the Moulay Abdallah Stadium in Rabat, the Holy Father received Ambassador and Mrs Julien Brunie, together with their children Louis and Olympia, for a family audience.
There was a moving recollection of the much-missed Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran.
