Rural Social Center of Témara

Diego Hidalgo, Counsellor at the Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta, paid a visit to the Rural Social Centre run by the « Filles de la Charité de Saint Vincent de Paul «  in Témara.

This institution – visited by Pope Francis during his Apostolic Visit in 2019, – provides care in particular for severely burned children as well as for children with motor disabilities. It also operates a canteen and offers academic support to pupils from the surrounding area.
The visit provided an opportunity to reaffirm the long-standing support of the Sovereign Order of Malta for this institution, with which it shares a common mission to combat exclusion related to disability in Morocco.
