On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Franciscan Sisters of Mary in Midelt — where the Order operates and supports an extraordinary centre welcoming children with multiple disabilities — the Embassy fully associates itself with the celebrations and extends its warm encouragement to the Congregation of the Sisters.

1986 – 2026 : commemorating 40 years of Pope John Paul II visit to Morocco
On Tuesday, March 24th and Wednesday, March 25th, at the invitation of His Excellency Tomasz Orlowski, Ambassador of Poland and of the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco, Ambassador Brunie participated in various activities commemorating the historic visit of His Holiness Pope John Paul II to Casablanca in 1986.
