On Tuesday, March 24th and Wednesday, March 25th, at the invitation of His Excellency Tomasz Orlowski, Ambassador of Poland and of the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco, Ambassador Brunie participated in various activities commemorating the historic visit of His Holiness Pope John Paul II to Casablanca in 1986.

The activities took place at the Polish Residence in the presence of His Eminence Cardinal Grzegorz Ryś, Archbishop of Krakow, and His Excellency Marcin Bosacki, Polish Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. At the Academy of the Kingdom, he attended a symposium organized by Mr. Abdeljalil Lahjomri, Permanent Secretary of the Academy, in the presence of his counterpart from the Academy of Krakow, Professor Jan Ostrowski, Knight of the Order of Malta. Ambassador Brunie also participated in the celebration presided over by His Em. Cardinal Grzegorz Ryś, at the Franciscan church in Rabat at the end of his trip to Morocco.
