Visit by the Ambassador of His Majesty the King of Morocco to the Order of Malta at the Magistral Palace in Rome
On 15 April 2021, the Lieutenant to the Grand Master of the Order of Malta received the Ambassador of His Majesty the King of Morocco on behalf of the Order of Malta at the Magistral Palace in Rome.
Fra’ Luzzago requested the Moroccan Ambassador to convey a letter to the Sovereign Alaouite, Leader of the Faithful, in which he expressed his good wishes for the Holy Month of Ramadan, and offered an invitation to His Majesty Mohammed VI, to pay an official visit to the Sovereign Order of Malta, on his next journey to Rome.
This invitation had already been made by His Highness the most Eminent Prince and Grand Master Fra’ Giacomo, and was renewed by the Lieutenant of the Grand Master.
The strengthening of bi-lateral relations was evoked in the presence of the Grand Chancellor, Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Order, along with the continuation of the Order’s work in Morocco, and future cooperative developments in hospital and humanitarian care within the charism of the thousand-year-old institution.
